DEAR FELLOW TEXAN,

As a fifth generation Texan, my conservative roots and values run deep. I was raised here, met my wife here and we are raising our three children here. I am an Iraq Veteran who served under the command of General Petraeus. I’m a lifelong Republican running to earn your vote because I know that more freedom means more opportunity.

I’m a small business owner and job creator, helping create jobs as part owner and manager of We Pack Logistics. My experience shapes my view of public policy: we must do more to replace lost manufacturing jobs and protect small businesses from over-taxation, excess regulation and frivolous lawsuits.

I believe in limited government, fiscal responsibility, and the power of the individual to create opportunity, economic growth and prosperity. I have seen from re-building Iraq what it takes to make a government strong – leaders that place the needs of the people above their own interests.
